This week I've accomplished a monumental achievement in my life, the part of me which is completely materialistic has been fulfilled and the other part is thinking 'You're so stupid' but sometimes, excitement over the little things is the best kind of excitement!
My proudest achievement of 2018 is that I have found the pair of jeans of my dreams...sorry for the climatic intro, but this is a big deal to me!

For the past few years I'd always avoided wearing jeans, I thought skinny jeans made me look a weird  shape and other styles never quite fit right. If I wore any kind of jeans it would be MOM jeans, the oversized fit did suit me but unfortunately lil steroid face Lucy Jane put on a lot of weight in 2017 and nothing really fit anymore.
I'd come to the conclusion jeans weren't for me.
I thought they were quite bland, boring and if you know me, you'll know I much prefer a bright, bold bottom and a plainer top. So throughout 2016/2017 I completely neglected jeans and never even thought to try new styles as I'd decided that I could do better than plain old jeans.
Oh how I was wrong...

2018 rolled around and I started to see so many bloggers rocking different types of jeans looking incredible. I have to admit, I had a bit of FOMO. I'd made this decision in my head that jeans were no longer for me but couldn't help but thinking...
'What if there is a fit for me? Styles have changed, my body has changed, they might look amazing'
(Yes I am aware, first world problems don't take me seriously as I know that this is not a major problem in life, it's just funny!)
So I was on the hunt for the jeans of my dreams.

Four months into the year and a trip to London later, I THINK I FOUND THEM!
I visited London for a day of shopping and accidentally stumbled upon the Weekday store, which I didn't even know existed! Weekday is stocked on Asos and I'd seen so many bloggers in their jeans looking insane, I never ordered a pair as I had no clue what size I'd be. Fortunately for me, the store was filled with an array of jeans and I tried SO many on till I found my new babies!!

These are the Weekday Voyage jeans and I am completely obsessed! The fit is high waisted, straight leg and utterly perfect! They seem to hug me in all the right places and flatter my rather chunky thighs which is always a plus. After finding these jeans, I am now a converted jean lover and will be plastering this pair all over my blog. They look perfect with crops, hoodies, shirts, A N Y T H I N G, they are just incredible!

So the moral of this rather materialistic story is never give up on finding the jeans of your dreams because one day your luck will come and you will fall in love!

(I SOUND SO RIDICULOUS, LOL, HOPE YOU ENJOYED!)
